Hi, I'm Kaylee!

I received my love of art from my grandmother, Diane Green, who inspired me to learn new techniques and continue to practice and hone my skills as I grew up.  As I developed my own style I found that I used art to release stress from my busy school schedule during high school.  At this time I started a booth at the local farmers market in Port Loring, ON.  Here I sold many paintings, sketches, and even ran some art classes with children while their parents shopped at the market.

Art was also very prominent when I left home to attend Queen's University to receive my Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology.  It was a way for me to let go of the stress of my day and made great Christmas gifts when money was tight as a student.  Art followed me to Ottawa where I received a Masters in Science in Human Kinetics.  Here I also began to dabble in digital art and logo design.  I created the logo for my research laboratory, the Motor Function Measurement Lab (MFM Lab).

Currently, I reside in Ottawa, ON where I am working on a PhD in Rehabilitation Science at the University of Ottawa in the MFM Lab under Dr. Linda McLean.  I live with my boyfriend and my adorable rescue dog and I am still painting and loving every minute of it.  And like my grandmother taught me, I am continuing to learn, develop new techniques, and practice, practice, practice!
